How to: Link data from Word to Excel.
Solution:
Copy the Word data using the 'Copy' command. Switch to Excel and link the data to a workbook using the 'Paste Special...' command.
1) Open the Word document.
2) Select the text to be linked.
3) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy' to copy the text.
4) Click 'Microsoft Excel' on the taskbar to switch to Excel.
5) Open the desired workbook.
6) Select the appropriate sheet.
7) Select the cell where the linked data should start.
8) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste Special...'. (The Paste Special dialog box appears.)
9) Select the 'Paste Link' radio button.

11) Click 'OK'.
